In Harmony with Nature
This independent house project, located in Muğla at the edge of the forest and in the shade of olive trees, was specially designed for a couple working from home. The fundamental approach of the project was to offer a calm, balanced, and timeless living experience that integrates with nature.
Thanks to the mirror details used in the main living area of the house, the trees and natural landscape of the outdoor space were reflected into the interior, creating a visual continuity with nature. This reflection effect softened the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces, adding spaciousness and depth to the overall atmosphere of the house.
In material and color choices, textures inspired by nature and neutral tones were preferred. The interior, designed with the Ula independent house concept, was structured with an aesthetic language that is refined, peaceful, and free from ostentation. Natural stone surfaces, soft-textured fabrics, and elegant wooden details completed the soul of the house by emphasizing both comfort and naturalness.
To provide specific solutions for the users' living needs, a comfortable workspace and a hobby area supporting personal interests were also designed within the house. Through these functional areas, unique living spaces were created where the homeowners could spend both productive and creative time.
This project aimed to create a sanctuary where its users could escape from today's fast-paced life and work and live at their own rhythm. The strong connection with nature, calm design language, and attention to detail transformed this house not just into a living space, but also into a life experience.
