Exhibition Design

Crafting Senses

Crafting Senses is an experiential concept that highlights not only the visual but also the tactile and sensory effects of surfaces. Sandeco’s decorative surface collections are paired with different layers of texture and scent, aiming to help visitors form a multisensory connection with the materials.

The concept considers the sensation evoked by each surface not only through colour and texture, but also through the atmosphere it conjures. Rough, soft, matt or glossy surfaces, combined with complementary scents, bring out the character of the materials more powerfully. In this way, visitors do not merely see the products, but also have the opportunity to feel and experience them.

‘Crafting Senses’ offers an approach focused on exploring the impact of design on the senses. The relationship established between surfaces, textures and scents questions not only how spaces look, but also how they feel. Each combination creates a distinct atmosphere, inviting visitors to explore the sensory world of the materials.

This exhibition concept transforms Sandeco’s rich variety of surfaces into a sensory experience, revealing the multi-layered world of design, which is not limited to aesthetic perception alone.
