Timeless Living in an Oak Forest

We created a detached house design for a married couple that can be used comfortably year-round, set within a natural landscape surrounded by oak trees. In the project, an architectural approach that respects the existing natural texture, harmonizes with the site, and is sustainable was adopted.

In the facade and interior space design of the structure, natural stone cladding and light-toned wooden beam systems were preferred, drawing inspiration from the environmental context. These material decisions not only strengthened the visual continuity of the space with nature but also created a warm and intimate atmosphere in the interior.

In the facade design, horizontal effects were strengthened to create a silhouette that harmonizes with the terrain; the relationship between the structure and topography was designed with a simple yet characterful architectural language.

The overall goal of the project was to create a residence that is integrated with nature, designed with a timeless material language, modern yet introverted and livable. In this direction, a comfortable, sustainable, and distinctive living space suitable for both summer and winter use was created.
